Sonetronics revision of the Advanced Combat Vehicle Crewman’s Helmet (ACVCH) in order to meet mounting military needs resulted in the creation of the Enhanced Combat Vehicle Crewman’s Helmet (ECVCH). The ECVCH represents the new quality standard in assured helmet protection and communications excellence.
QUALITY CONTROL
Quality Control is a vital component of the Sonetronics manufacturing process. Product durability must stand against rigorous testing procedures that include simulations of real world environmental conditions, air pressure/altitudes, and field use. All incoming materials, as well as in-process workmanship, are constantly tested and inspected in order to meet scrupulous military specifications.
Gauges and test equipment are calibrated by qualified personnel. In-house calibration is calibrated to the ISO 10012:2003 International Standard. If we are not equipped to perform the calibration, the task is contracted to accredited calibration suppliers recognized as capable of performing and properly equipped to calibrate standards under controlled conditions.
Sonetronics operates its Quality Control System under ASA/ANSI Standards, as well as United States Government DOD Quality Standard MIL-I-45208A, and is ISO 9001 certified.
